alright i've been reading up on the intake available for our Max and just wanted to make sure I had my facts correct

WAI = Frankencar or Berk or Cattman Combo

CAI = Cattman CAI or PR CAI

im thinking on going with the frankencar w/ apexi filter because its the cheapest; considering both the WAI's and CAI's respectively are just copies of each other, non have any significant difference

how are the hp gains on a 2000 Max?

all intake will get you around 5 hp at best...I had injen and frankencar and I'm going back to stock after blown 4 MAF's. If you are egtting an intake....personal experience...get a berk/frankencar...its better in performance...injen looks better. And sorry didnt mean to hijack ur post.

 

Well, wouldn't cattman fender intake be better since it actually gets cold air?

 

yea but you have to cut a hole in the fender
