State Lighting Laws...?

Does anybody know if there is a website providing information, or general rules regarding headlight bulbs in different states? I was wondering if maybe there is a rule saying 7000k is illegal or something like that, or is it just a judgement call by the officer. Thanks.

ANY blue tinted bulb is illegal in every state I believe. They are technically for show purpose only

You can get pulled over for having 7000k in your head lights, just fight it and say they came with your car and they are you head lights, then you will get out of it...

Nah, most of the PIAA bulbs are tinted blue and they are SAE and DOT approved and legal in every state.

Almost all lighting laws are federal and don't vary much by state, enforcement of those laws by state however, is another issue... we all know it isn't the same everywhere:

TITLE 49--TRANSPORTATION
CHAPTER V--NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
PART 571--FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS
Subpart B--Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
Sec. 571.108 Standard No. 108; Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.

I've searched through that law and tried to find where it states that the front turn signal must be amber on a passenger vehicle. I've also search my states and could only find that blue lights are not allowed. It might be a different law then the one you linked. I'll try looking some more but you and Puppet seem to have the search and the linking thing down.
