5/32nds in only 9k?

like it says i am down to 5/32nds in 9k on a brand new set of yokohamma predator vrs with a 400 treadwear rating aa temp aa traction rating, alignment is perfecrt and i rotate every 2500 miles with 37psi frnt and 35 psi back. this normal????????????ps new they were 10/32nds

yes! 58 k on my 2kse and on 2nd set of rotors, bought it with 33k

That stinks. Either you drive like a maniac or the yoko's 400 rating is bs. Perhaps a bit of both?

i never spin the tires. autotragic,but hard stop n go, and turns.?

In that case, you are gonna have to go easy on the car in order for your tires to last.....if not you are gonna have to dish out mad loot to get a new set of tires everytime.......I used to be the same way, but the pockets started to suffer so i had to stop....

You don't need to rotate the tires every 2,500 miles. Try 7,500 miles and save yourself the aggravation. What is the recommended tire pressure? Perhaps you should lower it to more like 33 front and 32 rear or whatever is stated inside the lid of your console.

you might want to INCREASE psi, not decrease...
