Nope, won't sound the same. You should be able to put the muffler on though. The 350z has a totally different intake manifold with secret sauce and a sweet exhaust system as well.

I was thinking the same thing, but I asked around and it seems that you cannot get that sound from just the muffler

Who gives a f'uck about sound ... I don't ... you can get decent hp gains w/o all the noise.

Just a thought... Why do people buy stuff for their cars and THEN ask if will work?

Did you actually look under the car to see if there is any room? I suppose it "could" be made to fit. But it will probably have to sit N/S vs E/W. Then you have to rearrange the piping. Have fun

i was originally planning on getting a set of g35 coupe stock muffler but doesn't look like it'll fit under the car...so i thought about getting the g35 sedan ones and have it custom welded on. problem is i'm not sure if it'll mess up any sensors or anything if i put the sedan muffler on. the sedan muffler looks nice i think...it's black and got nicer tips...possibly give a deeper sound but i unno =/

worse comes to worse, bring it to an muffler shop and have them weld it up to make it fit like stock. i want this to work as much as you do, interested in different custom work people are doing.

There are no "muffler sensors" all sensors are locatred upstream ... If you ever plan on getting headers, you might regret the muffler ... IMO, it's a waste of time and money. Just because it came on a g35c/350z doesn't mean it's going to sound like one.

Hmmm that's a good idea. Never heard of anyone doing that. Interesting.
