Bumpers on Ebay...

I had a little accident and I need a new bumper. The ones on ebay don't look like they go to my 2000. Will an 02-03 fit? Will the headlights be an issue or are they the same?

This one says it's for a 2000, but the fog light holes are square.

This says it's for an 02-03, but it looks like it's for a 2000...notice the curves aren't sharp on the edges.

Please help. I need to get this done soon, but I don't want to buy the wrong thing.
Thanks.

the first one looks like a 4th gen and the last is a 5.5 gen...i think there will be a gap by your headlights if you get the 5.5 gen bumper though, so i would keep looking...

If you happen to find rear bumpers at a decent price let me know. Mine was scratched up by the previous owner and I'd like to replace it.

There are some rear bumpers on ebay... search: nissan maxima bumper and voila...

I dug a little deeper and found one that should work... thanks for the help...

now, how hard is it to swap out a bumper and should I be looking for the airbag modules. I sure don't want to set those off.

i had a dent in mine, and i took it off to try and bend it back out. it sort of worked. you will need to take out the black pins in your engine bay that connect the top of the bumper by the headlighs. i beleive there are 5. you will have to take out all the clips in your tire wells. you will have to take out all the clips on the bottom, where the bumper lip connects to the bottom liner. you will have to unscrew 3 screwes per tire well that hold the bulk of the bumper. you will need to disconnect the fog light and side-marker harness. it is really easy to take the bumper off, just have sombody hold it when you take the last screws out in your tire wells.

I got it today... will unwrap it tomorrow and let you know the quality. It felt sturdy when I took it inside after UPS dropped it off. Watch out on Ebay, there are some places that are selling the bumpers that aren't even for our cars. Scary.

How's the quality of the bumper? Have you had a chance to get it mounted to test how well everything lines up? I got to replace my bumper, but the body shop wants over $800 to replace and paint the front bumper cover.

Hey man, I'm telling you straight up. DON'T BUY from Pershing Auto. I was visiting in Clinton Ill. and wanted to inquire about a front fender for my car that they were selling. I never got ahold of them and then when I finally moved to Hawaii they said they were ready to ship it out. 3 weeks went by and no fender. I called them up and they said they haven't even shipped it. Maybe its because I'm on a rock in a pond but I told them the hell with it and they can keep it.
