What!?!? Can't have yellow fogs? That doesn't sound right. I know you can't have neon tube lights around your license plate or under the car, but fogs? What's next, we can't put white driving lights on cars (i.e. gxe) that didn't come with them? Ridiculous! Go to court with Johnnie C as your lawyer!

You can't have yellow fogs unless they come with the car? What a load of BS! You can just say they came with the car. Would anyone go through the trouble of proving that

yea he asked me he is like did these come originally with the car? and i was about to say yes and he answered me NOO so i was like um ok... i think he was jelous that i had them and he probably wanted them for his car hehe... but yea he gave me a hard time for it... but let me go..

My friend made them yellow for me... He does it as a custom job... It costs something like $100 plus he needs your original fog lights... Its very yellow like the GS if not a little bit more brighter... ooo thats a good idea i will take pics of both cars standing next to eachother with the yellow fogs on to compare it... The thing with these lights are that the glass is white during the day and yellow at night... its not painted...

hmm

I thought anything BUT white and yellow is illegal,
like you can't have white with a bluish tint or white with some other color... that is funny, how the hell is he going to know if they came stock on the car or not? i don't know what cars have them stock tho, except for the IS300. I was going to rewire my fogs and put yellow bulbs in them to stand out.. hmm, dunno if I should do it now,

Hey....I'm not trying to flame you BUT paying 100 bucks for that is crazy talk. How are my hella yellow stars, h-3 85w's any different? They are just as yellow and bright. For christ sake you could have gone into the infinit dealer and said "Hey, I need 2 fogs for my QX4".

Maybe for 100 he uninstalled and reinstalled them for you....that sounds ok cuz I hear its a pain in the Asz to do it on a 5th gen. But you can't really take apart a bulb. He probably just didped it yellow paint....or hey....you may 25 hella's in there and paid him 75 for the labor

ummm how bout no scott... your yellow stars are a pale yellow... these are not... the bulbs are regular original clear bulbs that can be replaced with any regular 55 watt h3 bulbs... The QX4 uses a yellow glass inside of its foglight which makes it yellow... just like the GS... they also use just plane H3 bulbs... take some pics of ur yellow stars and lets compare them to mine and we'll see who has the brighter better yellow... and who is paying $5 for there H3 Bulbs which take a few years to burn out cause they are stock wattage...

The only time these tickets are issued are when your headlights are on with your foglights and it is clear outside w/ no reason to have them on. If it is dimly lit area you can get away with it, however on the street, lights that aren't stock cause a "distraction" which could be hazardous on the street. Both officers gave me a blah blah talk, if a cop pulls you over, don't fight him or her over why its on, just ask why they pulled you over, and if its dazzling lights violation, turn them off and appologize, they will let you go w/o a problem. Some officers given they are short on their quota will give you a ticket which is like an equipment failure violation, and it can be reduced in court, but not thrown out.
