are these under the powertrain warantee? It was 76 degrees outside...AC off and I was driving by myself on the way home and noticed non-stop pinging at light-throttle 2k-3k rpm.

I think its a gas issue, some odd reason the gas we pay now for 3/gal = crap ??

I've had at least 3-5 cars/day with pinging issue using premium fuel ??

Use Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner.(or that seafoam shizz)

hehe used to be less then 20, actually today i hit 31k on the way to work.
so u think i should just do the seafoam thing?
with my exhaust i can only hear the pinging if i am driving next to a wall and the sound bounces back. otherwise its all exhaust.
or what else i should do
thanks

lol, it'll be our lil thing.
Seafoam, according to the rest of the people who have used it, works
as for the ping, de-advance timing ?

if the weatherproofing was keeping the locking tang from engaging, you should have just reworked it.
