noises over bumps..hmm

Well...i am riding on 20's and i have JIC coilovers. For soem reason when i go over big bumps (not potholes but bumps i guess), I get this sort of noise that sounds like metal hitting soemthing or the frame of the car itself making noise. i KNOW my wheels arent hitting the wheel wells and im pretty sure the underneath of my catr isnt hittign the road. It sounds more like the suspension may be "loose" or something underneath the car is making noise. Could my axle be hitting soemthing? What does this sound like you you all? Would i rear sway bar tighten up the rear and maybe stop any noise from happening? thanks...

PS...im also not sure if it could be the coils compressing to much and hitting themselves....hmmm

if it sounds like its coming from under the car, it could be the exhaust hitting.

Hmm... that was the reason I switched to the smaller Cattman muffler before I got my car lowered. I was worried about the GReddy EVO hitting bumps and my driveway.

Maybe you should raise the car a little bit?

Idea

I had a weird noise on my car when I hit bumps for a while. Couldnt figure it out. Turned out it was a bolt that came loose on my break calipers. So when I hit any kind of bump it had room to move and made noise. Make sure all that stuff is tightened good. I had recently changed my own breaks which helped lead me to that conclusion. Fixed everything.

but if you havent ddone your own brakes recently, the exhaust can hit on the tunnel connector, or on the rear suspension piece that it loops over.
