My 10" sub setup

i added an MTX 8000 sub to my max few months ago, but decided to post pix now.

Here are the pics of my setup. This is similar to Infinity BassLink, just bigger. I used the PAC adapter to convert to RCA wires, and ran those in the door-sills on the passenger side of the car. I used 8-gauge power wire, in the driver door-sills. I used a metal strip found at any Home Depot or Lowe's. It is in the same section as metal dowell rods, and other metal connectors. Cost me about $6. I used two bolts with washers and nuts to secure this sub to the car. I had to cut slits in the carpet to feed my steel brackets through. I then used 2 wood screws per bracket to secure them to the subwoofer box. Everything is very flush in the corner. My trunk hinge hits the top of the sub box a little, but with enough time, it will rub off the carpeting and wood, and it will not interfere any more.
