picking up my 02 thursday!!

Well its that time again i cant wait to pick up my 02 6 spd majestic blue max . I dont think i really know anyone in this forum but ive had a 95 gxe for about 2 years and had a 99 se for about a year up until 5 moths ago when i sold it to get a turbo eclipse. Well the eclipse was great and super fast it was just way to small to be practicle so of course ive been searching and searching for another 95-99 maxima but the hunt stopped to a hault when i layed my eyes on this....

and to top it off its at a dealership thats out by our local airport, basically in the middle of no where lol. so in between cornfields i pulled a u turn to head back to see it, thinking to myself that cant be a 6 spd just in the middle of no where... i jumped out of the car and BAM 6 spd! sticker price of $13,200 which i obviously talked dude down enough to give him $300 to hold it til i get the rest from my car sale and a loan to clear. onyl drawback is that it has 88K on it but o well i still love it. i figure i should be able to talk him down to about 10.5K which is fine with me. i just cant wait to get this car and start modding, im actually thinking of ordering an intake for it tomorrow. Whats a good one to get for it the injen style or berk/FC style? now im gonna have to relearn everything for the 3.5 lol but im sure its all good. anyways thanks for reading i just wanted to make my first post in this forum insted of the 4th gen one and let yall know ill be coming here regularly from this weekend on . -Ryan

ok cool, so can i ask how much yall paid for yours? im still negotiating im not sure i made that clear in my first post. I just gave them a downpayment and im going back wedsday to finish the dealing and paperwork for my loan. What should i be paying for this car? btw it also has a few chips in the back bumper looks like somthing scraped it but its not bad at all. so that mixed with the headunit and it will prolly need a clutch soon because it engages pretty high up. its on the lot for $13,300 so i think i should start at 10 and see what happens. anybody else?

Congratulation, but ya better talk him down more like you said. That price is to much for the amount of miles on it. And the dealership should replace your head unit or take the price off the final sale. Good Luck

Congrats on the car, I also just picked up a 02 maxima about a month and a half ago, had 30K on it and got it for 14,700 with a second set of rims. I didn't think it was too bad of a deal. I'm really liking it so far.

I got my 02' 6-speed last month Had to have an o2 sensor replaced along with a coil pack wire, other then that no complains.

I pay $472.50 every 6 months for full coverage with a 0$ deductible on comp. Its good to be 26, married, and prior military
