smoothed and body matched rear view mirror ala mazdaspeed, anyone?

thanks goes to myself. my employer for being a twatwaffle, forcing me to quit, and giving me all this extra time this week. irish44 for letting me know that the best mods dont have to be manufactured.

Twatwaffle... I like that one. Nice little mod though... I think this idea crossed my mind a few weeks back while thinking of stuff to color match on the car, but props to you since you actually did it.

Sorry about your job though, that blows.

Looks good....I'd never thought about doing anything with the rearview (apart from when I replaced my OEM one with an auto-dim from an 01)....very nice!

thanks for the compliments. it is what you're thinking- almost insignificant. but it does bring more of the white into the interior. i had originally planned on doing the dash trim like that, but decided on the way home from the paint shop not to. i thought to myself that it looked fine just the way it was.

jdouble- 89 supra, unfinished project. if you weren't in CA i would tell you to come anc check it out. http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=308616

I believe from there, search for "leather" there's several threads with pictures of member's cars with leather like that.
