P1448 - EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve Open

P0455 - EVAP Control System Gross Leak

Any ideas what this is that is causing a cel on my car. Any solutions fellas? Thanks for the help. Ohh yeah I have a 2002 se, vq35.

 

check your gas cap, i had a p0455, it was the gas cap

 

if the vent valve is stuck open, the fuel tank wont seal and will set the p0455.

start with the vent valve, youve got an open ckt somewhere.

ill get more info on this.

 

in key ON or START you should have power on the r/y wire at the valve. ecm supplies a GND signal and closes the valve.
