I'll have more updates on this in a little while, I am busy making the LED domes...I'll be doing another fiberglassing project in a week or two in the passenger footwell for the DVD player and whatever EQ/X-over steup I'll be running, as well as redoing the carpet in black. This porject never ends.

What are your plans for the black carpet? Purchase new? or dye it?

Theres aftermarket carpet companies that make OEM replacements, theyre in the neighborhood of $200 for something nice and plush, any color you want.

Bump for 30 seconds free time for me to actually be able to finish this.

It might not be for a week or two, but there will be some very exciting updates in the near future.

I am not going to have any updates for a few weeks, at least until I finish making all of the LED assemblies.

However, the next installation will feature:

- Tweeters in doors
- Dynaudio MW170 woofers in doors
- Alpine RUX-C701 in gloverbox
- Alpine PXA-H701 powering 3-way active frontstage
- Sirius Tuner
- OEM black carpet
- All lighting hooked up

Basically I am going to take a day off from work to install all of this, but in the meantime, I am an LED b'itch.

Dam i wanna ask you a question bout the retro cluster. Would it be possible to just swap out the needles so you have the same 00-03 cluster but just the clear needles? The reason im askin is because i wanna get orange intelliglow needles cuz i just redid the whole interior lighting.

Thanks, man! I wish it were done, it'd be nice to have the interior all back together!!!! I just want to make sure it's 100% DONE when I am finished this thread. The last and final project is going to be the instrument cluster, I am hoping to have all of this done by the end of Feb...then I start the full-fiberglassing of the trunk.

Hey, those LED assemblies are helping fund your interior project and besides, you're making a great name for yourself on the Org.

I'm not a fan of suede, but the attention to detail is definately worthy of props. I am looking forward to seeing your new lighting project.

I have seen interior mods before on other car website.
I have been a member of G20.net and many people have done interior mods on there.
I have friends with complete interiors professionally done....

BUT, I have never seen such a detail-oriented, beautiful work of art like the interior of your car. I think it is great. It's fully custom yet not over done. I think the two-tone turned out great. I read through this entire thread which is something I usually dont do with long threads. The lighting install and the buttons are amazing. I wish I had the drive, patience, energy, money, place, TIME, and skill to do this.

Oh and btw once you start working on a car there is NO END so trust me you will never be truly finished.

AMAZING WORK DUDE! I'm gonna sit back, keep watching, and live vicariously

How do you connect the cathodes to a 12v source?
