I figured they might have been from leatherseats.com, but I wanted to know for sure, since I'm looking into getting some also.

I was just curious though about the carpet issue. What exactly is different from the 2000 carpet and the '01 carpet??

http://www.stockinteriors.com/

They only list from '95-'00, but damn is there really a difference??

Once again though, this is awesome!

I seen they only had up to 00, i know they changed the body style a little, anywhere else the sells carpet flooring for 01. I would love to change my interior from tan to black.

BTW Metal, That is awsome.

Figure I might as well let everyone know what is going on with the porject seeing as how I have not updated it in forever....

I have the following items left to complete before final posting...

(1) Finish Instrument Cluster LEDs
(2) Rewap dash in suede w/ UV spray, the original has faded tremendously.

The cluster will be done by tommorow or Monday at the latest, the dash I should get done next week.

How is your headliner holding up? Has it been exposed to alot of heat. Did you use any kind of backing? Foam ect.... Alsowhat is the uv spray that you mentioned you were going to put on the dash.

I have some suede that I want to put on my headliner but the shop I was going to have do it said that it would be too heavy of material and would sag on a hot day. The material is about as heavy as a t-shirt or maybe a little heavier.

Hey Metal, can I ask where you got the carpet. Inspired by you I am going to be doing this on a G20. Everywhere I search for automotive carpet it's pretty expensive. Thanks

Is that what was used? How would it hold up to the wear and tear of everyday use? How much will it be and what is the width of the roll?

Sorry for all the questions.

Metal, did you have any problems fitting the carpet back on after you put all the sound deadening materials on the floorpan?

You should calculate the hours spent, set a reasonable price for your labour and assign a new price on your car. Then insure it for the price you calculate.

Nice work.

That's a very, very good idea! Otherwise, you total the car for the book value and you've potentially wasted a huge amount of time, effort, and money.
