Looks very good!

Are you using regular spray paint, or vinyl dye, or something else?

Regular 'ol spray paint. The acrylic enamel coat I put on there really thoughens up the surface of the plstic, and can be cleaned with ordinary cleaners. All of my paints can be picked up at Pep Boys.

I dunno just to show the progression of the car and some of the stages its been through that was during my carpeting tan-black which couldve gone better but worked out. Next time I'd rather work with free form carpet. But anyways you still dealing with rain over there.

No, I like it...it's a very unique picture!

Alright, I'm off to put the carpet back in place, but before doing so, I ripped out all of the old padding and put some new, 19lb carpet pading in there...I dirve barefoot wheneer possible, so it'll be NICE AND CUSHY now.

...and what's this? You soon shall see!!!!!!

More pics in a few hours, time to put the dash in...wish me luck!!!!

*DING* *DING* *DING*

...we have a winner! Leave it to a 4th genner to figure that out...you guys pioneered the stuff!

Yes, I now have LEDs in my vents...it's very subtle since they are a ***** to position, but look awesome, IMHO.

And I also laid down 2 layers of 19lsb. carpet padding...so much cushier than the OEM Nissan crap.

By the way are you going to paint those white dash kits in the front in black to even out the color or you're going to leave them the way they are?
Well that middle console is very nice, I do like that the most.

i would however redo the airbag cover in black, it just looks too "checkerish"

keep doing what you are doing though, you are a true inspiration

Did not wanna disappoint you but I also think that airbag should be painted in black, not just because it looks too "checkerish" but also ‘cause it will be reflecting in the windshield and annoy you every time you will go for a ride.

I, personally, hate that reflection. I discovered it when I took a long trip to Conecticut and put the white colored road atlas on the dark colored dashboard.

Just look a bit more careful on the windshield :

Sorry for pointing this out, but I figured it is better to find out about it now, than when it is all done, the hard way.

Checkerish or not, glare or not, these are things that I am quite content on living with. Ok, I should have some more pics, fellas...but not until Tuesday. I am exceedling busy this weekend, but I have the middle console in, and will have the pic up very soon. I am also waiting for this bugger to come in in order to power some other goodies...

Yep! This little beauty should allow me to add LEDs to the 6 other "uncommon" spots that I have yet to see anyone else light up. It should be good shtuff when all is said and done, if you are addicted to blue lights, like me.

Oh, and I also need this to power my Sirius Tuner, LCD screen, DVD player, and HU too...

Progress is going to be slow for the next week or two. I am on nightshift and have something to do this weekend, followed by my 60k maintinence the following weekend. I am finishing up the painting this week, along with repainting my amprack since I would like a more "glass-like" finish on her. So looks like the end project will be done in...?

I am going to try and finish running my system wire this week, as I have NO speakers, and NO radio. My ride right now = teh suck.

wow a lot of work there.

i would consider the black speaker cover on the door panels in some other color. looks very contrasting.

the finished center console though is great. just the speaker thing don't match.
