rear window rattles

Just recently, ive noticed my rear passenger side window is ratting over rough pavement if it is not all the way up or down. I have an extended warranty, so i asked Nissan to take care of it, and they said it would cost me $85, since it is an "adjustment" and not a repair. so i want to tackle this myself, but what could be causing it, any ideas what i should do or look for?

can you hear any wind noise at any speed? that would determine if the glass is not going all the way up or something broken/loose in the window track.

i dont really hear any wind noise from the rear window when its up. when its all the way up and down, its okay, only when its in the midle does it rattle.

have you tried shaking it while its the middle to try to duplicate it? you may want to try a little pressure on it and see if you pinpoint the noise. i have not personally had anything like that but i typically keep the back windows up.

it definitley does shake, a lot, when its halfway down. and when i close my door, its basically the same rattle as when im driving. its not tight like it used to be. do you think there is any way to tighten the window track?

leave your windows up, nobody wants to see your azz mooning them anyways....

i'd take the inner panel off and see if there is an adjusment on the track, and open and close it while looking at the railings to see if you need to tighten anything.
