trans Vin?
Call Nissan and give them your VIN, they can tell you because they usually have all the info on the car when it leaves the factory, including options.
If ya wanna look it up yourself, the 2002s have a plate on the firewall with the VIN, transaxle code, etc and so I imagine it'd be the same for 2001s... look for that... its usually on the upper right hand side of the engine bay if you're facing the car. The transaxle code is what you're looking for and it should say something like R*****V if it has VLSD and R*****A if its open diff.
