Which wire to cut?

What wire was it you had to cut to make the TRIP button work with aftermarket radios? Was it the brown one? Did it need grounging?

Take the brown/white wire and just find a place to ground it. Trip button will work like a charm. I have this done on my car. All the other buttons work too, thanks to the PAC SWI-X.

added note: there are 2 brown/white wires. the thick one is the negative wire to your front driver speaker. the thin one is the one that controls the trip button.

I have the PAC for about 2 years and I still didn't install it. It's under my seat in the car. I really need to put that in soon.
