Alright, my '03 SE is an Automatic, I was curious as to what all would be involed to swap out the slush box and swap in a 6 speed. I tried searching but couldnt find any useful info. Has anyone done this, and If so what parts are needed and a rough idea what it would cost. I work at a dealer so I'm not worried about labor, just parts cost.

I would say Tranny, linkage,tranny mount (the bracket may be different), clutch pedal, clutch master, clutch slave and lines w/any brackets, brake fluid, and possible cpu.

This is just off the top of my head but I'm sure it's a good start and people will add to it.

 

It's been asked before and most people said it would cost way to much money and not be worth it................................................ .......................

 

sell the auto and buy a 6speed imo. if you want hsld that would also be a difficult install. plus you can kiss the warranty goodbye on such a new car.

 

from reading previous posts - it's too expencive and pain in the a$$. all the sensors in the ecu that detect auto tranny stuff would set of cels real bad. i think the total cost was something like $4k to do this. if you really want a manual, sell the auto and get a 6 spd.

 

What are your reasons for the swap?
