can the dealer recalibrate the speedometer for a new tire size?
for instance 235/45 from the stock 225/50?

Not worth it anyway. From stock tires to 235/45-17, your speedo is only 2% faster. This translates to. . . If your speedo says 100, you're really only doing 98mph. Not a big enough difference to worry about. After putting 10,000 miles on your odometer, it is really only 9,800.
