So I bought an Invader hood and it doesn't lock securely in the front..Anyone else encounter this problem? The guy at VIS told me hood pins will help secure it..Also do cf hoods need to be removed when winter comes? My friend told me that the cold and salt could possiby damage it...Is this true?

 

You can adjust the hood latch to go up a little...Hood pins would be a very good idea.

You wouldn't have to take the hood off for the winter, but I would. The cf hood is clear coated like the original hood.

 

How do I adjust the hood latch? And where are the bolts? =0

 

You can see them right on the latch...there are 2 or 3 of them.

BTW: DO get the hood pins.

Yeah the latch didn't reach so the only thing holding my hood down is the pins since it doesn't lock...Ehh...Anyway I can fix this?

 

Andrew, you're back from Japan already?

 

The latch moves up about a 1/8 of an inch and then it will finally connect with the hood.
