Meeting with a drunk driver

I am posting this for my friend GoldMaxNyc. He was involved in an accident in which he was struck by a drunk driver. He is alittle banged up, but doing alright.
Here are some pics he took of the car today.

sup all. thanks for comments. i am ok more or less. knee is alittle messed up ..but i should be ok. the girl iwas with .. hurt her elbow she's shook up and cant open arm all the way. if anyone knows brooklyn. i was on Coney island ave in turning center lane waiting for cars to pass to make a left turn onto ave H. i was standing still... all of a sudden i see headlights coming at me and not any sign of slowing down. at the last second i tried to move to the right but too late he caught me right in the drivers side wheel. as u can see its way off from where it should be. at least its better then him catching me full frontal. my car was pushed back about 10 or so feet and thrown at 45 degree angle ... his car was messed up alot more ... it was smoking and he was unconcious inside with smoke filling up inside. I went to my hospital where i work at to check my self and the girl i was with out. we'll be ok. Cop called me while i was at the hospital told me the guy was most likely drunk and he is in surgery. i guess i got lucky i am glad i walked out of the accident.
latest i hurd today from the body shop .. supposedly the other driver it was not his car and they are having a problem with his information. i guess it wont be as easy to get my car fixed as i thought. but time will tell.

Sorry to hear that… sometimes there’s nothing much you can do to avoid an accident.
BTW: I hate Coney Island ave – very slow and you always have to watch out for someone doing some crazy ****.

I'm really sorry to hear about and see that, Gold. Of course the Max looks bad, but you and the girl walked away fairly unharmed, so that's definitely a good thing. I know people always say, "You're lucky, it could've been worse," and the person in the accident is probably thinking, "Yeah, I'm lucky for having my car smashed up." But the truth is, we've all heard these horror stories about drunk drivers killing people. So you are lucky in the sense that you weren't seriously injured.

Plus, the Max will be repaired and hopefully better than before soon enough. Good luck with the insurance companies and the car.

Damn man that really sux your lucky that you were pretty much unharmed. A buddy of mine got killed a few years ago by a drunk driver it really scares the **** outta me when I hear about people drinking and driving! We all just gotta be careful and watch out for everyone thats on the road you can never be to careful! Always have a sober driver it doesnt matter how much they b!tch and moan make someone stay sober or get a cab its not worth endangering yourself or others.

I hope everything works out for you man best of luck!

Damm man that sucks hope you get better, but why no center caps??

I know the offset on hp's is gay, i grind drown the axle and flattened my rear dust caps to get the center caps in, have had no problems with it.

center cap got lost in the accident. the 2 front ones are lost. i have spacers on so the rims fit nicely without any grinding. i think the accident ****ed up both my axles. well u cann see that the front passenger tire is facing a bit to the right ... the left one is facing a little lefft and way of from where its supposed to be .. most of the impact came to the fenter and the wheel.
