RT Cat Opinion??

I am considering buying the RT Catalytic convertor. I recently purchased the Greddy EVO for my maxima. I was wondering what everyones opinion was on purchasing the RT to increase flow. Also, does it increase the sound of the exhaust? I just wondering what anyones insight is on this product or if there is a better cat I should go for.

I have no experience with switching cats, but basically I've heard its not worth it. The maximas cat is said to be pretty free flowing and the gains from a new cat wont really be substantial. plus, ive heard the new cats have pretty bad reliability and clog after 20k miles or so. Ive never had any actual experience, but thats just what ive heard...

If your stock cat is bad, buy a high flow cat...if it's still fine, then theres no need to switch it out....doesnt give any gains anyway....a test pipe is where the gains are at...and even if u get one, it doesn't give much anyway...like 2hp over stock

If it needs to be changed then change it. As far as sound, that will depend on the rest of the exhaust, if stock you probably won't notice a change, slight sound difference if aftermarket.
