Which Exhaust Gaskekts Needed for.......

.....Y-pipe installation? I will be installing a Stillen Y this weekend and was just curious if I picked up the right ones from Nissan. They told me I needed 1 small ring gasket (for the cat) and 2 flat diamond shaped ones coming off the headers...is this right or not?

I'm pretty sure you need 2 ring/crush gaskets... one for between the y-pipe flange and the front manifold, and one between the flange and the rear manifold. Between the y-pipe and the cat, you need one of those regular exhaust gaskets that look like this:

If you use OEM gaskets, ya might have to cut em bigger to match the 2.5" diameter of the y-pipe since the stock y-pipe is 2".

Part numbers are here if ya need em:

Yup... and when I said cut em bigger, I meant the gasket pictured, not the ring gaskets.
