Lately i've been thinking the back of my car is ugly looking compared with the front. Anyone know of any improvements to change the look, maybe taillights or something else??

a rear lip can definetely add a nice look. the only things i did to make the rear look a little better was replace the turn signal bulbs with silver bulbs so the tail light look cleaner and removed the dealer's decals. i have given thought to removing the badges but i like the dark look of the ae badges. while not on the rear bumper, i painted my clear sidemarker lights to match the the black paint.

 

What year/trim do you have? SE’s rear looks pretty good to me. If yours is not SE get some SE lights and rear spoiler. Adding a rear lip without adding the front one and the side skirts will look odd.

i have the se model. i dunno i jus don't like the round tail lights anymore.

 

not much you can do about the round tail lights. unless you wanna totally redo the trunk with custom body work, we are stuck with them. the SE tails are by far the best, IMO, but a rear lip and debadging makes it look great. maybe a CF trunk (if i ever GET IT!!! )

what year is your car? i personally like the older black tails more than the new clear ones. you can look into blacking them out or something....

also look into debadging...it cleans up the look of the rear.

I vote for debadge and dark tails if your car is dark colored. If its light, debadge, get the 02-03 tails and paint the lenses all red like Juice's and UGAd13's:

I think a subtle lip, such as the AE rear lip makes the rear end of Maxima look much better. The debadging usually depends on personal preference. A muffler or exhaust is good, both from a performance and appearance aspect.

 

that's what i've been looking for! I kinda wanted to get a stillen classic lip for the front, but didn't like the look of the rear lips available for the max...and w/out a rear lip, the front just looks stupid IMO....thanks, and props on an awesome car!!

It definitely helps, your car looks awesome, but just imagine how odd it would look without the side skirts… another words, it only makes sense to add it all together.
