Ok, so I got mine in the mail yesterday, and call me an idiot, but where is everyone putting theirs? Are these like a bumper sticker thing? Or on the window, or what?

Thanks ya'll.

It's meant to go on the glass. But you could put it on the body if you wanted to. It'd be a pain to get it off later though.

Got mine in the mail yesterday as well.

Decided to put them on vertically on the little window on the rear doors.

BTW is the Maxima.Org sticker good for 5hp or 10hp??

But all the weight of the stickers will negate the increased hp. We should ask Jambo to make some ultra light weight stickies!

The sticker comes with explicit instructions, just like this on on Part IA, section 3c.a-b :

"...Maxima.org tests have proven to actually increase gas mileage and increase total horsepower output. Simply place the sticker on the engine valve cover on top of the NISSAN emblem, enter the correct radio code (https://maxima.org/forums/showthread...7&pagenumber=1) and find the favorite car you want to race."

And then it says:

"...After you beat that Acu...umm, that car, confirm to the driver that he got beat by "Deez".....Deez Nutz."

oh, c'mon! you all know that when you dyno it, stickers only give 10hp MAX, no matter how many you toss on there. it's the whole weight : power ratio. the more stickers you put on there, the more weight and drag. i'd say put only 4 (2 on each side, keeping it even) on the car if you want to see a noticeable difference. i've seen 6 on at once, but then you begin to lose low-end torque. make sure, tho, that you do not put them on your mirrors--too much drag... although putting them on your spoilers will create more down-force (but i heard that this is just a rumor). someone care to be the guinea pig for this?

Now what happens if you stack two or more stickers on top of each other??? Does it become a super sticker?? Then, does your HP increase linearly or exponentially...

Cuz if 1 sticker is good for 10hp, then 100 sticker would be good for, umm.. (tom pulls out calculator) at LEAST 1000hp...

-Tom

PS.. silly people, there's no drag if you place them on the INSIDE of the glass.... And if you worry about the weight, just stick all of them on the rear window... 50/50 weight!!! that should be MUCH better than the vw wood... perhaps now, i can get rid of that dead body i've been keeping in the trunk ever since that last thread...

Should I get the Courtesy sticker or the Stillen sticker (which costs more, is not hollow, and doesn't look OEM like the Courtesy sticker)?

I modded my sticker

...cut it in half, so all that's left is the "MAXIMA. ORG" part, with the underline included. The rest was a little too much verbiage for me. The Maxima.org part, standing alone, makes a better visual as well as symbolic impression ;o)

I think that dyno'd at 2.373 HP boost. It's a good thing you kept the underline, though, 'cause it keeps the verbiage balanced better, and the fuel systme works more smoothly.
