Hows the ride? Is it pretty rough? Or is it not that bad. Thanks! What settings are you guys running on the shocks?

So would you recommend these or not? I'm also considering Progress Springs.

You could have just put in the thread which springs go good with the illums..But noooo you had to be different...Hey Orly Owl this guy is a moron.. Yeah he is...

big deal...i felt like posting two different post. so if you dont like it dont waste ur time here. people posted in here stating what they thought about the springs and shocks. they didnt make a big deal about it. so take ur stupid sh*t somewhere else. if your sick of it then dont f*cking post in here... your just trying to be a hard azz and post stupid comments.

I agree. What's the big deal with posting twice? He wanted two sets of opinions and with two different titles he is more likely to get the number and types of responses he wants.

It's so illogical to have 2 seperate threads when you could ask it in one..He could have just said, "Which springs will work these or these with illums.." Two seperate threads is pointless and you shut up..I'm so sick of seeing the same **** on here..eh I'm done..This is a great example of why it's pointless to donate, what's the point when every day the same question eventually pops up, which makes the search pointless to use..Oh and he could have done a poll like everyone else does..And also he would have gotten the same responses since pretty much the same people answered in both threads...Wow...Hey Orly Owl this thread sux.. Yeah it does this isn't fun anymore..

so props to lex4style for this thread

I don't really care much for the ride quality so I think I'll be getting this setup

DIY... get some local .Orgers to help ya.... write-up is here:

http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/strut_install.html

But yeah, most shops will do it, its just a matter of how much they charge. It shouldn't be more than 2 hours work tops. Irish44J, Soonerfan, Cutler, and myself did 2 cars in less than 3.5 hours using jacks and stands, which includes some BSing time as well. Just get some spring compressors and if possible, some sort of impact gun.

Back to the topic, if your roads are nice the ride wont be bad, its only rough on bumpy roads and potholes. I love the handeling, my friend had progress springs on stock struts and the handeling was ok, but my opinion is my illumina/s-tech is much better (we both have FSTB, RSB, and 19's). As far as look I'd go with S-tech, as far as I know its the lowest.

All lowering springs are going to be harsher, just a matter of by how much. Common opinion is that with stock 10, H-Techs paired with the right struts are about 8.5.

"Harsh" depends from person to person. IMO, the SE set-up was cushy and too floaty.

Btw, look around for more threads on this, I recall seeing a good number of H-Tech threads before.
