Just lamn-x'd my tail lights....

Well i just got done lamn-x'n my tail lights. I know there was a post on this b4. But I think that person only did his turn signal lights and not the reverse lights. I did both and I love the look. Since my 2k is black it gives a more aggresive look.

Tell me what ya' think..
Don't have my good digi cam. Used my palm pilot.

Looks good. I'd like to see a better pic. I've been thinking about swapping the black 5gen tails into my 02. I haven't heard of this lamn-x product. What exactly is it? I really like the look.

Its just a sheet of tinted vinyl. There are other kits for head lights and front bumpers ie.(clear bra) its comes in 5 diffrent tints clear / yellow / blue / smoked / charcoal. The one I got was the smok tint. You can buy it at www.lamin-x.com it ran me about 20 bucks and you get 2 sheets one sheet is good for 2 tails and a half is good for the reverse lights. Its also really ez to put on. some soap water move it into place let it dry and cut the edges.

I recently purchased the foglight/headlight kit from Lamin-x. The install was cake and the final product was even better. Now I dont have to worry about cracked lenses. Your tail lights look good. Did you use the 20 mil or the 40 mil?

I just bought some of this stuff in yellow for my fog lights. I was just going to go with some PIAA Crystal Ion yellow bulbs, but my lenses are starting to crack, so I figured that laminating them couldn't hurt. Since I'm going to switch to yellow bulbs eventually, I could've just gone with clear lamn-x, but I got the yellow stuff for the hell of it.

so i do like the tails which makes me think of another application for it. could i use it to do the bumper lights. this way i have clear bumpers but they are all smoked. also for pri63 how many layers of the vinyl did you use and how much light did they block from your light.

I used the 20. 40 would have stuck out to much since there is no were to tuck the egdes.
