Oxygen Sensors and your Maxima

Everyone will hit a time when it comes time to replace oxygen sensors. Looking on the forums, I located the group deal from www.oxygensensors.com

But I am mixed up, which brand do I get? Walker or Bosch? I know Bosch is the OEM brand, but if Walker is cheaper.. why not?

-Edit
I apologize if this is a duplicate thread.

I believe others have said that with non-OEM sensors some wire splicing is required. If you're into that, then go for it.

Yeah non oem sensors only come with 4 bare wires, you have to decode which wire does what and splice them into your harness.

Walker and Bosch both make OE sensors, so I am assuming they BOTH have the full oem harness and connector.

Parts suppliers are not going to carry OEM replacement sensors for every make. They carry the generic sensors you must splice. I personally went the OEM route, which even came with the little holding brackets (thought at $100 a piece they could have come with a little anti-cease...).

My SES light just came on last week. And a good friend of mine is a master tech at a nissan dealer and checked it out. Not only did I need a new oxygen sensor, but a new cat-converter. Thankfully they are covering it under warranty. I would personally go with OEM.
