rather simple, well i assume the 00 gauges is the same as my 02 as far as installation. Unscrew the screws holding in the black plastic trim around the cluster. pop that off, unscrew the screws holding the cluster in, take the cluster off, pop the clips off, slide the new gauges over it, carefully making sure the needls to pop off, and reverse steps.

good luck with your install, Ive been looking at them myself, what are the best looking brand(s) available? Ive looked at the ones on ebay too, but to be honest, i think the stock ones look better at night.

Yeah, I've seen some indiglos on Ebay dirt cheap now for some reason. Just wondering, does your stock guages have the needle rest on the fuel guage? Every set of indiglos I've seen does not have a hole to compensate this. This is one reason why I didn't buy a set. (Didn't want to modifify cluster, either.) And yeah, like someone said before, I like my stock SE guages better. Post pics after the install. Good luck!

Yeah, mine does too. But, the indiglos I have seen have all the holes to compensate them except for the fuel guage. I also heard some models of the 5th gener's don't have the fuel guage rest at "E" position when ignition is off. It stays in the position of the amount of fuel left in tank. And yeah, this is
