Transmission Swap 6SPD VQ35de

Yea umm i wanted to convert my automatic to the 6spd i was wondering if it is really hard.... i can get the manual transmission and i think the brake pedal assemblly comes with it too..... is my ECU compatible...

its not worth the time, or money if you pay some1. because of all the ecu, and automatic sensors, it would cost a lot. i think some1 here did it and spent close to $6k for the labor.

What if i can get the whole engine ecu 6 spd tranny and Engine wiring harness for like 900 bucks ..............well i really dont want the engine and crap but what if i just use the ECU???????

If its worth it to you, then just do it. But look up all the other threads that have discussed this in the past, there may be other good reasons as to why more people haven't done it.

buy a 6speed.........But if you can do the whole thing like you said for 900.00 then do it.....If not then just buy one...

Does anyone know of the threads thats people have discussed the swaps.. the only reason why i even wanted to due the swap is because the car was handed down to me from my mom and ive seen alot of 6spd all motors doing like 14.1 with like a lil modifications. oh and what is a VB mod????

Sell your can and buy a 6 speed....easiest tranny swap possible. And you can make some money on it too.

you would need tranny, ecu, pedals, flyweel, starter, cluth and slave cilynder, pedals, shifter, and thats just at the top of my head Im sure i forgot some other things.
