02 front bumper on a 00 car???

02 front bumper on a 00 car???
I will be relplacing my front bumper because of a fender bender 
I figured now would be a good time to get a 02 bumper so I could get the nice grill insert. Has any one replace thei 00 bumper with the 02 if so what do I need to know will my 00 headlights work? Thanks in advance
