High Idle..

Hey guys i recently installed my stock intake back in and noticed an abnormal Idle what can this be from?

have "idle air volume learn" performed...if it doesnt help..its a bad ECU. It happened to my 2k3 after the dealer replaced a TB.

I think a dealer would charge an Arm and a leg for this....

As for replacing the ECU...it's under the emission warantee 8/80. Just make sure you take out any mods you have in the engine bay

My warranty is gone car currently has 93k on it

the dealer will probably charge somewhere around $700-$800 for the 2k2 ECU. You can always go the cheaper route and get the ECU from car-parts.com and DIY. Or order it from DaveB and DIY. Good luck

Iam just going to let the ECU adjust to the intake, then well see what happends. thanks for all the information you gave.
