INSTALLATION HELP: 2k2 HID Xenon Headlights, Umnitza HID Fogs (pics)

I just wanted to say I researched this to the best of my ability but keep ending with frustration.. anyones help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Headlights-
i went to lia nissan dealership today and the parts manager said they had no such thing for a 2000 to a 2002/2003 conversion harness. he said it should just connect right into the same ignitor box with no problem. but me and my bro looked and there is a 3 wire connector for the low beam which hooks into the hid, however the new 03 type wiring harness uses, 2 type bulbs, low beam and high beam. the highbeam bulb, and turn signal is not covered by the 2000 wiring harness. is there a fix that can correct the situation at this time? i've seen a million ppl with their 2k2 headlight hook ups.. and cant find clear directions or websites that arent expired.. (blue circle 2000 connects to, red i believe it currently doesnt)

Fog lights- When hooking up the 6k hid fog lights, the fog light backing cap doesnot fit with the hid, only fits stock wiring.. (4 questions)is there a fix to this to protect the hid bulb and all the wiring? and is there a specific type of sealent we should use or a procedure..? the ignitor in the hid box, how does everyone protect them from dust, water, and dirt.. where do you hide or place the hid converter and ignitor boxes..?

Because of the theft issue, many people are hesitant to post the conversion how-to online, especially since you're a newbie. If you provide proof of purchase (photo of receipt, etc...) you will be more likely to find someone who will send it to you.

I will give you a hint though: You need to buy the 2002-3 wiring harness that will plug into your new HIDs. Then you splice that harness into your factory harness. I don't specifically recall what the hookups are, but if you get wiring diagrams for both, you should be able to figure it out fairly easily.

Of note...in the first pic it has a Philips ballast....this seems odd since to my knowledge the 2k2-3 HIDs (which I have on my 2k) have a Matsu****a ballast, not Philips...is this a OEM Nissan HID setup, or is it a "knockoff"?

Sorry, no clue about the fogs.

what do you find funny? I bet all your NY/NJ buddies with 02-03's who have had their headlights jacked 2 or 3 times don't think it's funny.

As for me, I'd tell him more...but I simply don't remember how I did them......and don't feel like figuring it out again.

yes im a newbie i just joined the forum a couple months ago, but i do have proof of my purchase.. i bought the 2k2 HID Xenon Headlights on ebay from performance depot inc. who do i send the proof to, to get help?

secondly it said it was complete replacement headlights so i guess it would be considered a nockoff, either way it works the same so doesnt bother me

probably the exact kit you have, they are H3 but i asked the Umnitza rep specifically for 6k fogs that were compatable for the 2000 model and he said they were..

only problem is theres no instructions for people who are just learning about cars like myself, if my bro didnt work for toyotas garage id be totally lost, haha.

First of all, if you go to the dealership and ask for the CONVERSION kit harness, they are going to say they don't have one because there is no such thing. Nissan does not make a conversion kit. You must ask for the 2K2-2K3 headlight harnesses only. They are plugs with yellow wires which plug directly into the headlights. The harness should run around about $35.00 for the set. As far as getting the instructions for help, you may have a hard time since you are a newbie. Like Irish said before, you must prove ownership of the lights being legit. Believe me, I had to go thru the same thing. Good luck!

Let me deposit 200 bucks in your paypal account so maybe you can tell me how to do it. That’s gay.........

I think, you simply did not do your head lights, do not bring any excuses. You paid someone to do it for you...

And that’s why you call your self a Home Depot moder, because you can do any better then home depot, you probably work for them...

Go mix a bucket of paint or something, and lift some heavy sand bags..

If you call your self a moder, you should document stuff before you say you did it and then you don't remember. That’s weak.....

Another note, If you can not help, Please do not post. That should be standard. No Exuses.....

There are several people here with the wiring diagrams, but will only share them in private with people who have proof of purchase of the HIDs because thieves have come here in the past to get information just like this. It seems that he is legit, so maybe now people will get in touch with him to share the info.

What's your problem with all this anyway?

You people are great help, next thing you know, they ask for your SSN# and address to verify that it is you.....

Be ready Italiano.

Here it is, if you need help:
1. Cleary Post your SSN#.
2. Clearly Give your Address.
3. CEll NUmber.
4. Date of Birth.
5. Mother maiden Name..
6. Credit card Info.
Then they can help you. Is that where Maxima.org going to........

More help than you've been so far....

I did tell him to black out the personal info.... once again, why the big stink here? Its a simple precaution so that people don't feel like they are helping HID thieves.

He was by no means harassed... I posted that as a suggestion so that he could silence the doubters that might have thought the HIDs were stolen. He didn't have to post it if he didn't felt comfortable. Please get your facts straight.

He was not harassed at all. Nowhere in this thread was ANY hostility thrown here. The only person doing the psychotic harassing and rambling is Cystum, who really needs to shut up. This is one of the saddest displays of posting I've seen on this forum in the 2 years I've been reading it.
