Replacing lights in for gauges?

I was thinking about upgrade my gauge lights to led lights (size 194). I was wondering if anyone has a write up on how to do this. Thanks

It's been done once or twice, but the light transmission is not all that good in most cases, since LEDs don't have the same wide light scatter pattern as the OEM bulbs do.

Also, it's VERY easy to mess up the gauge cluster when you take it apart....IMO not worth the risk (trust me, I know from experience).

I'll see if I can find the writeup for you tomorrow if nobody has posted it by then....
