He did some nice tinting of his tail lights:

http://www.cardomain.com/id/deckdout2

You could also just buy 2000-2001 SE tails and tint em even more.... they are a straight swap if you get em with all the harnesses.

Nothing, but I do think that they only look good with lighter colors, like yours, and the darker colors look good with either tinted tails or the 00-01 SE tails...

Like so:

Mine (01 SE tails)

Do you just spray them right over on the tailights? Or do you open them up and spray them. I have the tint spray, and I want to do this mod, but I dont want my car to look stupid....

The all red ones I think look good also. That what I am looking for. If anyone wants to do a straight swap with me and lives in the Chicagoland area. Let me know. I'll swap my SE lights for the GXE ones that are all red.

this can be dangerous make sure you heat well
1) You remove headlights
2)there are like 3 tiny screw on the back of headlight remove them all.
(you can leave the HID ballast alone)
3) Use hairdyer start heating all around the sides when its hot enough heat one side only and try to pry it open while heating (two people required)
4) do that untill the whole cover come of.
5) tape up light assembly and paint.. i used glossy finish.

here's a good thing to remember while scoping out cops. i was a little worried myself when i first did mine. regardless of what time of day it is, always run your parking lights when you drive. by the looks of your pics with the lights on, it shines through well enough for them to not bother you. i've had them right up on me in broad daylight, and (knock on wood) have yet to have any issues. try that and you should be ok.

btw, very nice on the tails....i think that dark would probably look good on my black. let me ponder a little......

the LED'S is a bad idea for the smoked tail lights, honestly they arent that bright, i have them and my friends syay they really cant see my break lights in the day light AND THATS WITH THESE CLEAR LENSES
