injen intake vs. berk or place racing or franken

i know !!!this is not asking which one has better performance...
2002 se maxima

i already have the injen in there.. i want to know if the short ram ones have the same growl as the injen at full throttle?


i want to change because i dont want to deal with cleaning and taking the injen apart...plus i want to a change..hehe. ok.,so let me know...

sound? and also i havent had any maf issues with injen, will it be worse with short ram or the same.

The sound will be slightly different, but it'll still have a growl to it.

Ye i cleaned it out got a K&N drop -in, car drives way smoother then the frankencar and the power is back.

I'm kind of a n00bie but what is a gab intake? I know it's a do-it-yourself intake are there any other worthy intakes that can be made? I'm in the market for something now my car is bone stock.

GAB = ghetto air box , it's where you use something like a coat hanger and leave a gap in your air box.

No, it's not. Read the stickies. It's in the How-To's. If you leave a "gap" on the wrong side, you can damage your engine.
