Trans Flush

It was recommended when I got my oil changed that I get a tranny flush, They say they use some kind of pressure thing to 100% flush it than put new fluid in. Is this OK to do? somewhere I thought I heard this is bad and can screw up the tranny. But I need to get it done. true or false? (BTW only reason why I dont change my oil myself is cuz of the stupid extended warranty which requires proof of a professional oil change)

I took mine to one of the local lube places to have mine done the other day -

instead of pressure flushing, they
drained
pumped in new fluid -
ran car to mix converter leftover,
drained again,
filled/mix again
repeat 3 or 4 times....

didn't drop the pan or change filter, and it's probably not as good as a complete flush...but i figure it's better than worrying about the pressure systems screwing up seals.

Just didn't have time to do it myself, so figured this was better than nuthin...

When i had my auto the dealer did the pressure thing. It gets all the old fluid out. Its the best way to go and it doesn't mess up seals.........I didn't really notice that much of a differences.

Di mine at Midas, set it on low and just pumped fluid, no chemicals were added as normal. I just slowly flushed with 13 qts. Car runs fine.

What is the mileage on the car? You should have done a drain and fill at 30K, followed by a flush at 60K and repeat process every 30K.
