Angle Problems
#1
Sorry if I'm repeating someone but I know for a fact that there are numerous complaints to Nissan that the lights on the new Maxima are off angle or something, when I get home I will send a link to the page since I don't have it, some kinda page with all the complaints for parts that are submitted by each dealer if anyone knows the link please post if not I will do so when I get back.

I had not heard the conversation before....but it stinks as people are always flashing me because they think my high beams are on. I have an appointment with the dealer to have then straighten it out. Should I cancel my appointment? I'll see if I can find the old thread.

To aim your lights, park your car 25 feet in front of a wall. Make sure the hot spots in the beam pattern are at the same level and slightly lower than the headlight height. You should be good to go.

I don't know
I've owned a 2K and 2K1 maxima, and the head lights were positions the exact same on both cars. The passenger side beams seemed to be angled higher than the driver's side. I'm sure there is some purpose for that... Don't know...

The passenger side headlight is not aimed higher. What you are seeing is the beam pattern of both headlights. This beam pattern is similar to the European standard which allows a taller beam pattern on the right side to illuminate road signs while keeping the left side low enough so not to blind oncoming traffic
