Struts w/o Springs

Struts w/o Springs

I just chnaged my suspension to Tokico HPs but i never changes my springs there stockk... my suspension is very ruff and alot of noise while hitting potholes... what i also notice was that i pack my car with 4 big peopel and honestly my suspension felt much better...preety much like it should be..my question is that am i having this problem because i didnt change my springs?

No. I have hp and stock springs and my ride is awesome. 100 times better than stock. Maybe the install wasn't done correctly cause i dont get any noise over bump. My hp were install this past summer. So far it's the best investment i made on my car!

It could have to do with you living in Brooklyn...the roads ain't so good over there and probably have made alot more squeeks and rattles over time.

It has nothing to do with you using stock springs. Are the springs seated on the perches right?

I've been curious about doing this. I would like to tighten up the handling a little but I live out in the country and lowering my car is not advisable. Anybody else have upgraded shocks and stock springs that can give some feedback?
