Window wind noise... http://innerbean.com/housecor/window_wind_noise.html

If you have an intake, maybe the metal tubing is rubbing against something when you accelerate or go over bumps? Other than that, heat or cold can also cause certain things in the dash to make noises. Good luck in resolving them.

check to see if there are any missing screws to your dash...i have one missing; it just popped out recently, and that rattle was driving me nuts...i finally checked to see that there was no screw on the far right of my dash under the glove box....i think if i put a new screw in, it should fix it....see the above link for the wind noise, and to make your car even quieter, get some damplifier from www.secondskinaudio.com ... i just installed my 40 sq. ft. and although i only did the rear deck, under the rear seats, and in the trunk, it made a pretty big difference...if you did the floorboard, the doors and the headliner, the difference should be pretty drastic, but the stuff is kind of expensive.....

also, if you have a sunroof, do this : http://innerbean.com/housecor/sunroo...noise_fix.html
it helped quite a bit...

The front of my car also squeaks and it is the hood latch. Try push on the hood a little and see if it squeaks at all. If it does, grease it a little and you should be good.

yeah i had that too...a little white lithium grease on the good latch and struts does the trick....i also wrapped some electrical tape around the hood latch and raised the two rubber stops on each end, which made the hood tighter, so it doesn't rattle over bumps or on the highway...

the hood rubber things were all the way down, causin the hood to sqeak and thanks for the link to the rear window thing. it sure is sad that a car that is suppose to be near luxury has wind noise like that and cheap noise quality.. oh well still love the power of the VQ...

it's definitely better than the two new toyotas i've been in (a 2003 Solara and a 2005 camry) .. i really don't think there is that much road/wind noise in my car compared to some others...now it's DEFINITELY louder than my stepmom's Audi, but sacrifices like that have to be made in order to make a car a good value...i think i'll deal with my little bit of wind noise and the few other small problems i've had with my car...it's much better than having something major go wrong with it IMO...

true..true..but for a car that is to compete with the acura, idk. i love my car but seems like lesser quality than my 99 se, even my 05 sentra s for that fact.
