Looks good I just order some 8000k from HID Extras cause one HID went out and Nissan wanted 190 for one and NAPA 90 bucks but this place 2 for 35.00 or one for 20 and what are you running for your HID 6, 8, or 10?

I just installed my new HID 3000K kit yesterday, and I'm very pleased with it:

Before, with my NOKYA Yellow xenon light bulbs:

Comparison during the installation - Left: xenon - Right: HID

After:

It was a pain to install but it's all worth it!

If you're bound and determined to go yellow, that's the right way to do it, with a 3000K HID Kit.

I haven't done up my fogs yet with HID. It's on my list for a little summer project, so it's good to be encouraged like this.

Yep, I bought the Nokya bulbs off ebay and even though they looked pretty decent, they were not bright enough and did not lit up the road the way I expected... I drove around last night with the HIDs and they light up the road sooo much better

Side note: I see you have centric rotors and hawk HPS pads, how do they perform compared to stock brakes? Mine need to be replaced soon and I'm thinking about upgrading to something better...

I put 3000k in mine also...the job really isnt hard at all. Just some basic wiring and a little dremel action and your good!!! I've always said the hardest thing about HID conversions is finding a spot for the ballast.

Way OT, Gizmo. Even though this is an ancient thread. Go find a brake discussion and have at it.

I can't answer your question anyway. I don't have a before/after point of reference to compare current setup to the original setup, both at peak performance.

It was not supposed to be that hard, but while disconnecting the fog light wire from the plug, I pulled on a wire and the son of a b.... came out of the plug... that was my dumb mistake though.

You are right, the job took about 2 hours, so it wasn't that bad... I just wished the kit would be "plug and play" type instead of having to cut wires...

How did you attach your ballasts? I did mine with zip ties, but I need to redo it, I'm not happy with the result...
