Any suggestions??

Im looking to paint my OEM upper girlle. I bought a mesh grille from Grille-Tech, but you can see right through it, and the damn thing looks WAY tacky. Anyone have some suggestions on painting the OEM one? Im looking to just spray it flat black, but Im not sure if I should sand it first. Thanks in advance.

If you use regular flat black spray paint it will chip easily and look bad. I have used epoxy spray paint on my wipers and it has proven to hold up better. Also try a satin/semi gloss paint, it will look better.

Try opting for the new Trenz Grille with the logo cutout. I've seen it on an altima and it doesn't look tacky. It's available for a 5th gen also.
