yet another brake pad question

Hello,

I am getting some Brembo blanks for my 2k SE from the importperformance GD.

I have searched and read about pads but cannot seem to find answers to my questions.

I would like a pad as good as or better than stock but really don't want a squeaky setup (my stock rear brakes squeak badly now).

In reading up on the various brake pads, all the performance ones are "squeaky".

My questions are as follows.

1) Does putting anti squeal compound on the back of the performance pads (Hawk htp or Axxis ultimate) solve the noise problem?
2) I noticed Importperformance offers Brembo pads for the front. Anyone have any experience with Brembo pads that they could share?
3) Are Brembo pads available for the rear?
4) Any idea on price for Brembo pads?

Thanks and back to searching...

i know green stuff pads are ok, but may be dusty. if quiet is your priority i recomdnd generic raysbestos quiet stops. ive used them, not the best performance pads, but long life and defenatly the quietest. no experience w/brembo pads.

Mine squeaks when the pads and rotors are still cold, but are fine otherwise.

This describes the current state of my rear brakes very well. Seems to be getting louder with time too.

hawks are some noisy and dusty bastards. I put on the wagner import quiets and have no noise issues . They also stop just as well. now am happy with my brakes. powerslots all around, wagner iQ's all around, and stainless lines. thats the setup!
