Got a question about the VQ35

Hey all, If I have read correctly people who have a 3.5 swapped into their 4th gens can put the old stillen supercharger on the 3.5, but for some reason all us 5.5 gen folks cant use the stillen supercharger in our cars. Is this correct? and if so why wont it work in our cars? Not enough room under the hood?

I believe the VTCs on the 2k2-2k3 doesn't allow fitment for stillen SCs

the people who swap 3.5L engines into their 4th gen, take out the VTCs so they can run a 3.0L ecu....No VTCs = SC fits

correct me if i am wrong

You are correct! A 4th gen owner Ian came to my work and I looked at his supercharger set up and then looked at my car side by side and the vtc's would be in the way. Also like you said most 4th gens running 3.5 use the 3.0 heads so the dont have to mess with changing ecu and all the other bs among other reasons

basically what I'm trying to ask is why hasn't anyone configured the vq35 in their 5.5 gen like someone would configure it if they swapped the VQ35 into a 4th gen. As in take out the VTC since its the thing in the way. This should allow for the stillen supercharger to fit.
