Ok, I've read the FAQs that many have posted...But, I'm stumped...

I have a 2k1 max and there's one screw in the bottom of the housing and it's the ONLY bolt/screw/etc that I can find. There are also two silver pins pushing through little white "tabs" that also seem to be holding it in...

My question is, how the heck do I get the housing out? I tried brute force, thinking the silver pins would come loose from the white tabs, but that didn't work. I was able to spint he tabs a little, but it doesn't yet look like they unscrew.

I just can't figure out the next step...I've also opened up my ESM manual and it doesn't explain it, either.

Yes, I must be an idiot or something. I'm totally stumped!!!

Once that screw from the bottom of the housing is removed, you have to push forward (towards front of car) REAL hard to release it from the white pins holding it in. Don't worry, you won't break anything.

put a phillips head screwdriver, or somethiong of the same shape in the depression on the two tabs towards the front of the car and with ur other hand give it a nice good palm smack, do that going back n forth between the two, and itll pop out the front. have soemone there to catch it, it can take a bit of force
to pop them out.
