jic hight adjustment question

the directions that came w/the kit have to be wrong because they make no sense. they say u adjust the hight by adjusting the spring perch, this cant be right, that would compress the spring and it spesifically says no to ver compress. so how do u adjust hight??? i figure its by the bottom adjustment nut right?

and how do u determine how low it is. i want about 1 inch drop, so i figure the max drop is 2.5 so ill screw them 1.5 inches down from that??

loosen the spring perch lowest of the coilover....then spin the whole shock body into the lower mount...i believe its clockwise to go lower...counter clockwise is to go higher...after you are done spinning, lock the spring perch back into place
