02-03 Headlight housing paint

Im in the process of putting angel eyes in and also clearing the corners...
i thought that while the headlight is apart i might as well paint the headlight housing black... ive seen this on other maximas but dont know what paint to use... does it have to be heat resistant or is regular plastic paint fine??
Thanks!

any paint...well almost any. An all perpose paint works quite well.

yeah, nearly any automotive paint from autozone or advance auto parts or whatever should work, no need for it to be high heat.

any paint should work, i used duplicolor. but there is a difference in looks between the black and smoke (a dull black, like chalk boards... i accidentally bought that first)

The only difference is your headlight has a bigger reflector

I used high temp engine paint, but thats just because I'm ****.

Be sure to scratch up the surrounds with some sandpaper before you paint. Once again a bit overkill, but I'd rather over do it than do it again.

Home Depot is your friend. Almost any paint will work. I'm telling you.
