lil vacation with the max AND JDUBS KIT!

To those who i may have offended to cause my banning, i apologize, but im back now and i have done a lot over the past 10 days. heres some pictures

I HAVE STARTED ON THE JDUBS KIT AND HELP A FEW ORG MEMBERS OUT

takin the stock bumper off


Fitting the JDubs Body kit and cutting the bumper to fit the 02 grill



Re creating the sharp lines found on the 02 bumper right below the headlights



AND COMPLETING THE BODY WORK 2NIGHT, SPRAYING THE BUMPER FRIDAY NIGHT AND UNVEILING IT AT THE NYCMAXIMAS "OFFICIAL END OF THE YEAR CARSHOW THIS SUNDAY 11/20

I ALSO RECEIVED AND INSTALLED THE 03 TITANIUM EDITION COMPASS MIRROR I RECEIVED FROM
WHEELIE KING AND IT WAS A DIRECT PLUG AND PLAY LIKE HE SAID IT WOULD BE, THANKYOU


I ALSO CLEARED TWO SETS OF HID'S FOR FELLOW ORG MEMBERS, MACALERT WHO I HAVEN'T RECEIVED PICTURES OF AND DOC'S

That looks like bondo...or something to fill the bumper to line up with the 02-03 headlights.

its unsanded bondo, since the front of the bumper was originally all rounded, we are adding the slight edge that is sceene on the 02/03 bumper right below the headlights to break up the roundness.

well tonight when fitting the grill we found that the bumper was slightly further out on the drivers side so the grill when streight, was off a hair or 2, so we had to builed up that side a lil


but now it fits fine! we will be finishing it and painting it friday night!

I'm going to call you soon for the clearing of the headlights!! How long does it usually take to do?

BTW, I'm looking for a front lip for my '02. Keep me in mind if you know anyone thats selling one!

clearing or DDE's aswell, im still workin on a set i started at 6 lol its 12:43, but were just bs'in and havin fun over here. idk about now though, its been gettin cold and i dnt wana have to worrie about the headlight sealing properly,condensation is not cool in the headlight. I THINK SPRING MIGHT BE SAFER.

Is it me or is it that center lower opening off. It looks smaller on one side. You see more of the bumper support.

stock suspension, fogs are actually from autozone for $17.99, only fog that looked nice that would fill the hole

it seems a lil off in the pic, didnt notice it in person, the bumper is comin off for winter, it was rushed for the NYCMaximas car show today, its a shade darker than the stock , a few fish eyes, it will all be fixed in spring. but thanks for the complements guys!!!

just needed something quick to fill the spot, 20 bucks at autozone is the only thing i could come up with b4 the carshow, HID's will be comeing for springtime

just so you know, the opening of the bumper IS off. i aligned the car in the frame, then drew lines to compare the bottom of the bumper, the bumper support, and the bumper opening. hope this helps you out. it does look really awesome though, good work.
