I got my H&R spacers from www.optauto.com . They didn't have them in stock and H&R took forever to get the spacers to them. Took almost 4 months. Call them before you order though to see if they have them in stock.

20mm is a lot, i think. make sure you get new wheel studs tho for 20mm, from what i remember from a previous post, since it would be dangerous for that on stock studs. i have an 02 GLE and with my 19s, and even with the stock 17s, i dont plan on going any more than 10mm, i was considering 5, but 10 seems more worth it.

check the stickies, i THINK there is stuff in there about spacers.

after searching VERY quickly, it looks like some people say anything over 10mm needs new studs, and apparently the H&R 20mm spacers come with studs, so that will probably be your best bet, if you go 20.

I believe any size spacers you buy from H&R will come with longer studs. I bought H&R 5mm spacers and they came with longer studs.

You can buy H&R from almost any where. Just google it. Most places have them in stock. You don't have to buy it just from www.optauto.com

what are the pros and cons with getting certain sizes if any? I am just afraid that if I get 10mm it will not be enough, so what does anyone else think would be a good size to get. I saw in the sticky's where 20mm were used and I think that would look the best because the wheels of our maximas are so far in. plus if they automatically come with the longer studs I think the 20mm would be good. So Im looking for the opinions of other people that have gotten them....

I might be going with these on ebay. They are 25mm but I am keeping the stock 17's for now.

ive got 12.7mm's i know thats an odd size, i think thats aprox 1/2inch, the car looks amazing, i had 8mms b4 they looked good too, but the difference is really noticable. 20 imo would make the fronts seem too sunk in. then ud have to space them according ly.

Ohh, on a side note. Does anyone think I should get an alignment with the 5mm spacers up front? I noticed the steering wheel a little more loose since the spacers were put on, also my steering wheel shakes above 70mph.

H&R doesn't make 10mm. They make 5, 15, and 20. Anything above 5mm would need longer studs.

Does anyone know what the shoulder means?
i.e. H&R SPACER (PAIR): NISSAN (5:114.3) 15MM (14.25MM SHOULDER) vs. (12.85MM SHOULDER)

ive got my 8mms laying around, id like to trade for 5mms. macalert, did u use longer studs up front? that would scare me to drive with that little threads holding on my wheels. i got the really long nismo studs on my rear i could prob space 30mms and still have plenty of tread if i wanted to(never would).il prob get another set for the fronts and just cut off the extra

I wouldnt use spacers, usually when you use spacers they make your wheels feel like there out of balance, shaking real bad! when I took them off I had no problem
IMHO !

Do you have any facts to back this up? Have you ever driven a car with wheel spacers on them? If not then STFU and stop spreading false information. As long as you stay with hub centric spacers there are no problems. I have had my 20mm H&R spacers on the rear for a month and have had absolutely zero problems.

sPig: I believe shoulder is the width of the stud.

Save yourself the hustle of getting them H&R spacers and just get them Eibachs Pro Spacers. They have a pressed in studs so its a matter of taking off your wheels and installing them I have them Eibachs Pro spacers installed on my 02 maxima and they are 20mm If your intersted just call Wheelwarehouse.

Uhh, isn't that the same concept as the H&R's. Old wheel studs come off, new ones installed.

so they are all the same quality??? so it is just a matter of what size to get? so would 20 mm up front and back be a good look then?? I just want a nice more even stance than now. I have the stock wheels and everything else. SO my last Q would be.....what would the best price be then? ( if anyone knows?)
thanks-

20mm front and back is to much. The most I would do up front is 10mm. 20mm in the back is just about right. If you're lowered, don't go more then 20mm.

Yes I have, If you read the post It says "when I took them off I had no problem" H&R 20mm , took them off, changed wheels no shaking or vibration?
I had them on my car to clear the BBK. Not for looks, for a reason!!

Sold the wheels to a friend he put them on his max with no spacers, no vibration at all ???
I guess since you have had them for a month, that you are an expert and know all there is to know. This is a forum, members come here for advice and opinions, if everyone was as smart as you we wouldnt need maxima.org.
Opinions are like A$$ hOOles every one has one ! so keep your smart A$$, snyde remarks to yourself.
Thanks

whazzzzuup- how long have you had those spacers and are they holding up well??? cause that is really cheap! I would feel a little hesitant of the quality.

So I am getting the feeling that the best way to go is with 10mm in front and 20mm in back and to most likely go with H&R, and the price of theses are around 100+ for front and another 100+ for the back. Is that right??

My cousin and I are both running these spacers for more than a year, and they have no signs of wear or rust.

H&R doesnt make 10mm spacers, only 5, 15, 20, 25. 20mm in the back is perfect, in the front I'd go with 5-10mm, but the H&R 5mm spacers are $55!!! I refuse to pay that much for a 5mm thick disk...If I were you id check ebay for front spacers. Basically all H&R spacers are expensive, but for jjust a subtle change in the front, I'd hit up ebay...

I think he means that the spacers have the studs that are built into them. I think the 25mm H&R spacers have them too,

where the 20mm and below means you have to replace the studs.

The spacers I have come with new studs that are installed on the spacer itself so it is completly bolt on.

with all of u guys that have 20mm spacers in the rears with stock rims, how much clearance between the tire and fender do u have, im really really close with my 12.7s. maybe its because im so low, but over bumps id think everyone thats not so low would still rub.

I'm lowered on H-techs and no rub. there is definately enough clearance. 25mm spacers will probably fit with no problems as well. My rear tires are 225/50/17 though.

IMO the Eibach Pro Spacer Doesnt require for you to replace your studs. Here's the picture.... ( http://eibach.com/eibach/images/Pro-spacer.jpg ) Make sure that you get the size 20mm.

thats because it has built in studs. The H&R kit just has tho holes for the stock studs to go through, not additional studs built in.
